The modern interior design of the country house is very original. The house is located in Melbourne, Australia and has an annex to the house and a spacious living room.
The architects proposed to design an extension that would integrate the garden as part of the living space and inspire outdoor living.
Here, you see the hallway that connects the original house to the annex.
The annex features a new kitchen with white cabinets, wood and stainless steel worktops, and a red and white pattern on the back. The window behind the sink allows natural light to enter and provides a wonderful view of the original home.
The addition opens from the kitchen and you can see a wooden ceiling that extends from the inside to the outside.
The dining and living area share a space with large sliding wood and glass doors opening outward.
At the rear of the outbuilding, there is a large covered area providing outdoor BBQ space and shade when it gets hot.
At night, lights from the inside of the house illuminate the garden.
Near the side of the house there is a road that separates the original house with the new annex.
Inside there is a small living room, with the usual built-in corner sofa.
From this angle, you can see how the house connects the old and the new, the original house on the left and the annex on the right.
Here is a view of a bathroom that has a glass enclosed shower. The room is tiled, which flows smoothly from shower to bath.
